CLEVELAND, Ohio — University Circle Inc., a community service corporation located in Cleveland, is hosting a “Lend a Hand” fundraising campaign with the goal of sustaining community education.
The nonprofit supports educational programs for thousands of children Pre-K through high school.
The students have the opportunity to participate in cultural activities, including tours of University Circle’s world-renowned museums and the Cleveland Botanical Garden.
“What we’re really trying to do is connect students, frankly, with the greatest of need, to some of the greatest of opportunities in a life. In that “Lend a Hand” just a few dollars will make a big difference. We hope we can leverage it for a lot more dollars, and ultimately, our students in our cities here in Ohio have a chance to be leaders someday that are gonna change the world,” said University Circle Inc. President Chris Ronayne.
The “Lend a Hand” campaign is made possible through a grant.
“The good thing is we are trying to raise $10,000. The even better thing is, that puts us in the running to raise another $100,000 through the Community Thrives Grant — that’s a tenfold match,” said Ronayne.
There are about two weeks left to give to the campaign. To donate, click here.
