In this week’s edition of Ag Report, anchor and reporter Chuck Ringwalt and agriculture expert Andy Vance discuss crop insurance.
“There are two general buckets of insurance products that farmers typically look at,” Vance said.
The first is yield protection insurance and the second is revenue protection insurance.
The deadline for farmers to purchase or modify federal crop insurance was March 15.
Vance also explained how climate affects farmer’s decisions.
