After a relatively warm and very windy day Thursday, skies will clear out overnight, sending the rain east and the temperatures nose-diving. In fact, after highs in the 60s for most areas, overnight lows will dip to freezing or nearly freezing for much of the state.
Friday starts off sunny to partly cloudy and cold, with increasing clouds and temperatures by the afternoon.
A late evening rain will move in, and become a bit of a soaker overnight into Saturday. Highs Friday will be in the 40s (low 50s SW).
