Former Cincinnati anchor, reporter Bill Price passes away

CINCINNATI — A longtime reporter and anchor who once served the Cincinnati area has died. 

WCPO-TV confirmed Sunday Bill Price passed away, but the cause of death is unknown. Price worked for the station for 26 years before leaving in 2012 to care for his mother in New York, his home state. 

Price also served as the former president of the Cincinnati chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists, according to his LinkedIn profile

Before coming to Ohio, Price also worked at WTOC-TV in Savannah, Ga. from 1983 to 1986. 

According to his LinkedIn, along with hosting the morning news and general assignment reporting, he was also WCPO’s first full-time health reporter.
