CLEVELAND — Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb has been in office for just a month, but has hit the ground running. He recently shared a 100-day tracker so residents may see what to expect from him and his administration during his first 100 days in office.

“The biggest thing I’m proud of is our commitment to ensuring that residents had a role in our transition and that’s reflected in this report,” said Bibb. “And also our commitment to transparency, so everyone in the city can see how I’m doing as a mayor to deliver on the commitments I made throughout the campaign.”
Bibb is focused on 85 priorities to be completed. Some items have already been completed, like the funding to eradicate lead poisoning in the city.
“Through our commitment and support in conjunction with city council, we helped to raise over $100 million to support the lead safe coalition to eradicate lead paint across the city,” he said.
In the last few weeks, Bibb has also updated the city’s snow policy, launched a snowplow tracker website, and hired a senior strategist for race and equity.
Bibb said another goal is to pour into a Cleveland community that is often overlooked and one he calls home.
“From making sure we begin to invest in southeast side of Cleveland, a part of the city that has not gotten its fair share of resources for too long,” he said.
