Kellyanne Conway, who recently served on Bernie Moreno’s campaign, spoke at a “Women for Jane” event to support candidate Jane Timken.

Moreno suspended his campaign in February and serves as the Ohio State Chair for U.S. Term Limits — an issue Timken supports.

“I’ve signed the term limit pledge,” said Timken. “I think it’s incredibly important that people, we’ve seen the disastrous effects of long-term politicians like Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer. They’ve been in office far too long and, by the way, so has Tim Ryan.”

Conway said Timken is the only candidate in the race endorsed by Trump in the past, when Timken had his endorsement for Ohio Republican Party Chair shortly after the 2016 election.

She said she believes Timken shares many of the qualities that made her want to help Bernie Moreno on his campaign.

“Neither one needs to do this,” said Conway. “They’ve got great lives, great families, great business acumen, tremendous success personally and professionally. They’re doing it because they love Ohio. They’re doing it because they love the United States of America. Bernie would have made history. Jane will make history as the first female United States senator representing Ohio, and I think that matters.”

Ohio Sen. Rob Portman, Iowa Sen. Joni Ernst and South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem also endorsed Timken.
