OHIO — While last week gave the state better than average chances of rain and storms (including severe weather), this coming week will overall be drier and quieter.

What You Need To Know

  • Very warm and humid to start things off Monday
  • Next chance of showers and storms: Tuesday
  • Seasonable temperatures most of the week
  • Closer to 90° by next weekend

Starting Monday, winds will shift over from the south, giving us a warmer and more humid start to the week. In fact, many areas will be near or at 90 degrees Monday afternoon.

This will set the stage for some showers and storms Tuesday, as our next front approaches. While severe weather is certainly possible, the right dynamics for a large scale outbreak isn’t there. Still, we’ll be watching.

By early Wednesday, leftover showers and a rumble or two will move out, and skies will quickly clear. Temperatures should fall back to the low and middle 80s.

The rest of the week looks dry and warm, with seasonable temperatures and mostly sunny skies. Don’t forget to stay hydrated and slather on the sunscreen as you spend more time outdoors this coming week!
