CINCINATTI, Ohio — Two students at La Salle High School were named Week 8 Scholar Athletes of the Week for the southwest region.
Ethan Riesenbeck is a track and field and cross-country athlete.
In the classroom, Riesenbeck carries a 4.48 grade-point average and is in the top 10% of his class.
He is also a member of the Lasallian Scholars Institute, an honor roll student, has received the Academic Excellence Award and is a member of the National Honor Society. He takes part in the key club, art club, film club and the newspaper club.
Peyton Broering is a four-year member of the soccer team.
In the classroom, Broering maintains a 4.40 GPA and is in the top 20% of his class.
He is also an honor roll student, member of the National Honor Society, and has received the Academic Achievement Award. He participates in the key club and the newspaper club.
