KETTERING, Ohio — Two student athletes from Fairmont High School were recognized as the Week 9 Scholar Athletes of the Week for the southwest region.
Dylan Krieger is a football and lacrosse player for the Thunderbirds.
Off the field, Krieger is a member of the National Honor Society, is a Winter Spirit Squad leader, and was a volunteer at Kettering Hospital.
Serena Baker is a volleyball and basketball player for Fairmont.
Off the field, Baker is involved in Young Life, yearbook, DECA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and National Honor Society. She also is a volunteer at Kettering Rec Summer Camp and youth basketball camps.
