OHIO — The Ohio High School Athletic Association football tournament continued Friday night across the state. The playoffs will culminate with the state finals on Dec. 1-3 in Canton, Ohio.

In Friday’s OHSAA Game of the Week for central Ohio viewers, top-seeded Gahanna Lincoln held on to beat third-seeded New Albany 25-17 in Region 3 in Division I.
Gahanna (13-1) won’t have long to celebrate its first regional championship since 1982, it faces St. Edward (13-1) in a state semifinal on Nov. 25.
In the southwest Ohio Game of the Week, top-seeded Archbishop Moeller beat third-seeded Lakota West 38-20 in a rematch of last year’s regional final, which Moeller also won.
Moeller (13-1) moves on to face Region 2 champion Springfield next week at Piqua Alexander Stadium. Springfield beat Moeller in the state semifinals last year 22-21.
In the northeast Ohio Game of the Week, top-seeded St. Edward shut out third-seeded Mentor 27-0 at Euclid Community Stadium.
