POWELL, Ohio — The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is joining with Versiti Blood Center of Ohio for a “Season of Giving” blood drive.
The blood drive will be at the zoo’s Africa Event Center on Thursday, Dec. 22. Appointments can be booked online from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Donors will recieve a “Good Any Day ticket” to the zoo, valid through March 2023.
In order to donate, donors need to be at least 17-years-old or older and be in general good health. Parental consent is required for 16-year-olds to donate and appointments are preferred, but walk-in donors are also welcome.
The appointment should last about an hour and donors should bring a photo ID with their birthdate.
