Snow has arrived

Light snow is currently pushing across the state with a rain/snow mix in far southern and southeastern Ohio.

Snowfall accumulations are expected to be light, but enough to create some slick spots on roads and sidewalks.

Most areas along and northwest of a Cincinnati-to-Columbus-to-Youngstown (I-71 & I-76) corridor will pick up 1 to 3 inches. A few spots may see closer to 4 inches.

Tonight, scattered lake-effect snow develops and brings another inch or so to the Snowbelt, with light coatings possible elsewhere. Scattered light snow showers will linger into Monday morning’s commute, which could be a little slippery.
