CINCINNATI — The warrant for Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon was dismissed Friday by a Hamilton County judge, the Cincinnati Enquirer is reporting.
The warrant, for aggravated menacing, had been issued on Thursday for an alleged road-rage incident on Jan. 21.
According to the report, Judge Curt Kissinger said that the charge “could possibly” be refiled.
“The club is aware misdemeanor charges have been raised against Joe Mixon,” the Bengals said in a statement Thursday. “The club is investigating the situation and will not comment further at this time.”
Mixon, a second-round draft pick by the Bengals in 2017, just wrapped up his sixth season with the team.
