OHIO — With Spring Break beckoning, the month of March is no doubt one of the busiest for many of the country’s popular destinations.

If you’re looking to get away, and avoid the crowds and college scene, while still saving some money, Travel Expert Jeanenne Tornatore has some tips.

“There is a very high demand for spring break travel this season,” said Tornatore. “If you do want to get away and you don’t have anything planned, you need to get creative and think outside the box in terms of where you are going and what type of lodging you are looking for.”

Tornatore said it is not too late to book an affordable trip. A few options include ski trips close to home or traveling to warm weather destinations within driving distance, such as Tennessee and Georgia. Tornatore also reminds travelers to be flexible, look for deals on flights by booking mid-week trips, and book hotels that have amenities included to cut out extra expenses once you reach your destination.
