COLUMBUS, Ohio — An interactive photo experience is helping Ohioans capture memories one selfie at a time. Selfie WRLD Columbus is the latest attraction of its kind to open in the area.
In Dublin’s Mall at Tuttle Crossing, the space combines a variety of props and creative backdrops to help visitors take the perfect photo.
“When you take your photo, you will have these memories forever,” said co-owner Jasmine Durant.
Durant runs the space with her mother and designs many of the unique backdrops found in the 16 rooms at Selfie WRLD.
“We have some unique ones here that you won’t find at any other Selfie WRLD,” said Durant. “We have a salon room, pink and green money rooms, and an arcade room with a Pac Man game that actually works.”
Each guest is provided with a clicker that pairs to their phone, allowing them to snap pics without the help of a photographer. Tri-pods and ring lights are also provided in each room. To keep things fresh, rooms are redecorated at Selfie WRLD every few months.
“I think people have so much fun here at Selfie WRLD because they can come with their family and friends and leave their problems at the door,” said Durant.
Selfie WRLD Columbus is open 7 days a week. The space can also be used for parties and rented out to host private events.
