Winter isn’t going out without a fight! Very cold and windy weather with lake-effect snow will continue into Sunday.

The majority of the snow will occur in NE Ohio in the Snowbelt with 1 to 4 inches expected. A few favored locations may pick up 5 or 6 inches. The rest of the state will only see a few spotty light snow showers or flurries.

Winds will be blustery and gust between 25 and 40 mph through Sunday morning. Wind chills will be in the teens and as low as the single digits into Sunday morning.

On Sunday, lake-effect snow will taper off and winds will relax with sunshine returning in many areas. Spring officially begins on Monday with much nicer weather.
