Kara Norris, an OSU alum, took the opportunity of the spring game to go to the game with her husband, also an OSU alum, and her two sons. It was her kids’ first time at a game.

“Super exciting. It’s the boys’ first time at an Ohio State game. We thought it would be a chill way to get them introduced,” she said.

The boys’ grandpa, Jeff Miller, was also at the game. He graduated from Ohio State as well and was happy to accompany his grandsons at their first game.

“Keep the tradition alive of three or four generations of us graduated from Ohio State,” he said.

For Kara’s husband, Ryan Norris, he was excited about seeing quarterback, Kyle McCord, take the field.

“I’m hoping to see the new quarterbacks get a chance to play. I know Brown is not playing, but McCord is so that will be cool to see,” he said.

Mostly, Ryan Norris was just excited to spend the day with his family and ‘Shoe’ the boys around the college that he and his wife met at.

“We’ve had a lot of great memories in the Shoe so excited to show them what that’s all about,” he said.

Ohio State head football coach, Ryan Day, seemed pleased with the performance of his players Saturday afternoon.

“A long way to the fall, but it’s healthy for everybody to go through this,” he said.

Jeff Miller had a simple answer when asked what he wanted to see out of the Buckeyes this upcoming season.

“A national championship,” he said.

Ryan Norris said one of his hopes for the season is that they beat Michigan.

“We better beat the school up north,” he said.

The Grey team took the win over the Scarlett team for the spring game on Saturday.
