The links between cancer and smoking have been widely documented, but a recent article from University Hospitals lays out some of the cancer risks associated with drinking alcoholic beverages.
Dr. Hussein Hamad, an oncologist and hematologist at the UH Seidman Cancer Center, stated in the article that alcohol consumption accounts for roughly six percent of all cancer in the U.S.
