Heat builds back into the forecast through the holiday weekend. The last weekend at the pool looks great to cool off as 90s return.

What You Need To Know

  • The brief taste of fall ends this weekend
  • The holiday weekend will be dry

Our stretch has been mainly dry and we will continue this trend with no rainfall expected this weekend. The big weather story is the upswing in temperatures.

Friday is the coolest day with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. It’ll be a seasonal September day.

Notice highs climb into the 90s by Sunday and continue on Monday, which is Labor Day!

Our pattern stays hot in the extended outlook and temperatures trend above normal for most of the country, including the Ohio Valley, for the first full week of September! So, keep the summer clothes out for a while.
