It’s been a soggy start to the new year, with rain, heavy at times, across the state on Saturday.

A push of colder air is heading in for Sunday, changing things up and making us finally feel like winter across Ohio.

By Sunday morning, expect some moderate to heavy wet snow to blanket northwest and north central areas. As colder air filters in throughout the day, temperatures will fall drastically by the end of the afternoon, with light snow and flurries for many areas around I-70 on north.

Northwest Ohio could see 2-4 inches of snow, with the Cleveland area seeing 1-3 inches by early Monday morning. Everyone else should expect flurries with little to no accumulation. Lows by Monday morning will be the in teens north and 20s south.
