After weekend cold and snow, comfortable temperatures return to Ohio for the week ahead.

What You Need To Know

  • Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies start off the week
  • Clouds and slightly cooler temperatures are expected on Tuesday
  • 60s and even 70s return to Ohio by Wednesday and Thursday
  • Late-week showers expected across the area late Thursday into Friday

With light south winds and mostly sunny skies, Monday will start the new week off right, with highs in the 50s north and 60s for central and southern Ohio. Clear skies are expected overnight statewide.

Tuesday brings a weak front across the state, with only a slight chance of a stray shower or sprinkle. A few areas along the lake may see a dip into the upper 40s for highs.

Starting Wednesday and through the end of the week, expect south and southwest winds, mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies and highs well into the 60s and even 70s by Thursday for a good chunk of Ohio.

By Friday, out next cold front swings in. After increasing clouds Thursday night, we’ll see rain arrive Friday morning, with highs pushing back down into the 50s and 60s. Scattered showers will blanket much of the state Friday afternoon and evening.

At this point, there is no return of the winter weather for at least the next seven days.
