While the 90s are not back in the forecast for the week ahead, we’ll see a return to more seasonable temperatures, along with a good chance of rain and storms.

What You Need To Know

  • Monday will be the driest day of the week ahead
  • Temperatures will warm up, but not to the levels they did last week
  • Unsettled weather returns late Tuesday with rain and storms
  • A drier pattern emerges by the end of the week

Monday is no doubt the driest day, with partly cloudy skies and highs in the 60s to near 70. High pressure settles in and gives us a pretty decent start to the week.

As several fronts line up across the state for the upcoming week, along with a strong area of low pressure, we’ll see a return to unsettled weather for nearly all 88 counties.

Tuesday gives us increasing clouds and a chance for some late day showers and a few rumbles. Severe weather doesn’t look likely for the first half of the week.

Wednesday and Thursday will bring a bit more of a S/SW flow of air, so expect temperatures to creep up to average or slightly above average levels (upper 70s and low 80s) along with a chance of rain and storms. We’ll keep an eye out on any strong to severe storms.

After some early showers Friday, a drier pattern should move in by the start of next weekend.
