A stormy start expected to the new week

Temperatures have jumped across Ohio late Sunday and will stay warm into the day Monday. However, a warm front crossing the state late Sunday night may bring a stray shower or storm toward morning. Temperatures will stay in the 70s overnight.

Storm chances will ramp up by late Monday as a cold front approaches. A few storms could be intense, especailly across northwest Ohio. The main threat from the strongest storms will be some damaging wind gusts, but the overall threat is low.

More showers and storms will lingering into early Tuesday. Storms will move out late Tuesday with some cooler, less humid air filtering in for midweek.
