OHIO — The rainy, unsettled weekend weather will spill into the beginning and middle of the week ahead, giving us a more flooding concerns.

What You Need To Know

  • More rain and scattered storms Monday through Wednesday
  • Flooding will once again be the main concern
  • Early/mid week temperatures: upper 80s and low 90s
  • A return to sun and comfort by Thursday and Friday

Unsettled weather continues on Monday, with scattered showers and even a few thunderstorms. The main front hangs to our north; southerly flow will continue to pull in moisture and heat from the south. This will result in highs temperatures well into the upper 80s and low 90s.

We’ll also be looking at early-week feels like temperatures above 100 degrees in many spots.

While the atmospheric conditions do not look favorable to produce widespread severe weather, as was the case over the weekend, flooding is going to be a risk. The ground is already supersaturated, so it won’t take much to cause water levels to rise.

Tuesday will give us a better chance for more widespread vs. scattered rain across much of the state.

Expect much of the same Wednesday: multiple rounds of rain and storms. The difference will be the front to our north finally swinging across Ohio and knocking this pattern out.

Thursday and Friday: a return to sun, comfortable conditions and temperatures even slightly below average.

Late-week, at this point, looks absolutely beautiful!
