BEDFORD, Ohio — Two students at Bedford High School were recognized as Week 7 Scholar Athletes of the Week for the northeast region.
Kaylee Coleman is a member of the girls’ soccer team, marching band and a swim team captain.
In the classroom, Coleman carries a 4.25 grade-point average and is currently ranked No. 1 in her class.
She is additionally a member of the National Honor Society, a safety town helper, involved in her church, a theatre thespian and a band senior representative.
Austin Luke has participated in marching band at Bedford High School for four years.
In the classroom, Luke maintains a 4.18 GPA and is ranked No. 3 in his class.
He also attends post-secondary classes at Lorain County Community College, takes part in the City of Bedford Memorial Day and is a student volunteer for band.
