For Cincinnati fans, this season has been one big party, and that continues in Kansas City.

Bengals fans have started their takeover of Kansas City for the AFC Championship game against the Chiefs.

Bengal Jim Foster invited all of his closest friends for a championship-eve party at Winning Streaks, and hundreds showed up.

Middletown’s Steve Miller is one of the many Bengals faithful to make to the trip to Kansas City.

“We weren’t going to come,” Miller said. “Overnight, Wednesday night at about 9 p.m., my wife convinced me to come, and here we are.”

As a season ticket holder since 1968, Miller said this season means everything to him, his son and grandson.

“Before the Raiders game, Joey made a comment standing in line to go in for the game, ‘When this is over, if we win, I might cry,’” Miller said. “And we did.”

Bengal Jim and friends have raised more than $50,000 for charity this season.

On top of bringing everyone together each week, Bengal Jim’s tailgate also raises money for several charities in Cincinnati.

Bengals fan James Spink helped organize the charity efforts through the year. He and Jim are extremely proud of Who Dey Nation for making such a strong impact.

“We can’t thank them enough,” Spink said. “They been very generous. You can see the support that we have here in Kansas City. You saw it last weekend in Nashville. You saw it for the first playoff game and hopefully you see it in two weeks in Los Angeles.”

The Bengals fans invasion of Kansas City continued on Sunday at the tailgates at Arrowhead.
