WOODLAWN, Ohio — A Cincinnati-area elementary school got a visit from its favorite team Monday, as the winners of the Bengals Rule Your School Competition.
Woodlawn Elementary School was one of hundreds of schools in the region to submit a video for the contest showing their Who Dey pride and their school spirit during the Bengals playoff run earlier this year.
The students got to meet running backs Chris Evans and Trayveon Williams who hosted a pep rally alongside mascot “Who Dey.” They got some Bengals gear, raffle prizes, and they got to compete against their teachers in a relay race.
“We go out there and compete on Sundays not just to do what we do and bring joy to the city and make a difference in the league but I love just being able to enjoy these outreach opportunities and be able to give back and make a difference,” Williams said. “This is something they’ll remember for the rest of their lives.”
