MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio — The Berea City School District announced Friday morning on its website that Berea-Midpark Middle School is closed for the day following a social media threat.
The school district said the move was out of an “abundance of caution” after the threat was brought to attention Thursday night.
“If you have children in another BCSD school and if you are concerned for their safety, please feel free to keep them home today,” the district wrote.
The threat is under investigation by the district.
