BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — The Bowling Green Police Department said the two inmates who escaped from the Northwest Community Corrections Center were apprehended Friday afternoon.

The department posted photos of the fugitives, 36-year-old Justin Firman and 24-year-old Dakota Embry.

Firman was being held on abduction charges and Embry for possession of drugs, according to the department’s Facebook page.

The two were caught in Fostoria on Turley Road and were charged with escape before being transported to the Wood County Justice Center in Bowling Green.

Emma Bulser, 30, was also charged with felony obstructing justice.

Details on how the inmates escaped were not provided.

The Wood County Sheriff’s office, Ohio Highway State Patrol, Findlay Police Division, Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, Fostoria Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service were all involved in the search.

These are the fourth and fifth inmates to escape in Ohio in less than a week and a half. Inmate Jason Conrad escaped on May 30 while being transported to a doctor’s appointment in Summit County and was captured the next day.

Two other inmates, James Lee and Bradley Gillespie, escaped from Allen Oakwood Correctional Institution in Lima also last week. Lee was caught the next day in Kentucky, but Gillespie was found after he drowned in the Ohio River.

This is a developing story. Check back later for updates.
