Tropical Storm Bret formed in the central Atlantic Ocean on June 19, becoming the second named storm of the 2023 Atlantic hurricane season.
Only remnants of Bret remain as it fizzles over the Caribbean Sea. It will continue to weaken with maximum sustained winds of 45 mph.
It will continue to head west, passing north of Columbia on Saturday, bringing showers and thunderstorms to the region.
