WESTLAKE, Ohio — Fast food giant Chick-Fil-A is opening a new location near Crocker Park along Detroit Road in Westlake.
The company said on Monday that the new location is slated to open in early 2022. The new Chick-Fil-A will be among seven opening throughout Ohio by the end of 2022, the company said.
The Chick-Fil-A is being built at the site of the former TGI Fridays, which closed on July 12 after 27 years at the location. The TGI Fridays has since been demolished to make way for the new Chick-Fil-A.
“Chick-Fil-A is constantly evaluating potential new locations for expansion and Northeast Ohio represents a tremendous opportunity for us to serve our customers great food with exceptional care,” Chick-Fil-A said in a statement.
Chick-Fil-A is currently operating nine locations within Cuyahoga County with two other locations currently being remodeled. Currently, the closest Chick-Fil-A location to Crocker Park is in North Olmsted near the Great Northern Mall.
Chick-Fil-A would not say when it will begin hiring workers for its new location.
