It’s a huge weekend for travel, football and shopping.

What You Need To Know

  • Light lake-effect snow moves in early Friday
  • Saturday will be mainly dry but cloudy and cool
  • Rain and snow showers are possible late Saturday through Sunday afternoon

The weather will mainly cooperate this weekend after a rainy Thanksgiving Day.

A cold front early Friday will bring in some streams of lake-effect snow showers and flurries.

If you are shopping early, be prepared for flurries and cold.

Highs on Friday will only be in the 30s.

Most of Saturday will be dry and partly sunny with cool highs in the 40s.

Some disturbances over the Great Lakes will bring in some rain and snow showers Saturday night through Sunday afternoon.

Many Ohioans will be traveling on Sunday so these showers may slow you down a bit but we are not looking at high snow totals.

There may be a light dusting though on untreated roads and grassy areas.

It does look like skies will dry out late Sunday into early Monday but some lake-effect snow showers may remain for the snowbelt.
