Clouds stick around tonight as a weak warm front lifts over the area. Some areas of fog and drizzle will also be possible. Lows will be mild for this time of year, ranging from the mid 30s to mid 40s.
Our next storm system arrives by late Friday. Conditions should stay dry during the day with mild air surging into the region. Highs will range from the mid 40s in the northeast part of the state to the lower 60s in the south.
Look for showers to overspread the state from southwest to northeast tomorrow night. Can’t rule out some showers during the New Year’s Eve festivities so if headed out, keep an umbrella handy. Temperatures will stay mild, in the 40s and 50s. Expect a soggy first day of 2022.
