Cold Monday, with Lake Effect Snow Northeast

Cold temperatures are in the forecast this morning, with single digit wind chills across the northern half of Ohio, and teens to the south. 

Lake effect snow showers will impact the primary snowbelt in Northeast Ohio, with some areas seeing accumulations of 4-8+” through early Tuesday morning. The evening commute could be messy along parts of I-271 and I-90. 

A Winter Weather Advisory goes into effect at 1pm for the snowbelt. 

The coldest temperatures of the week arrive overnight into early Tuesday, with single digits for many areas, and sub zero wind chills north.
