COLUMBUS, Ohio — For the first time in four months, all Columbus library locations will be open on Sundays starting Feb. 20, the Columbus Metropolitan Library announced Thursday.

The libraries initially had to close all 23 locations in November on Sundays due to staffing issues.

“Fully staffed, CML employs approximately 870 full- and part-time staff members. CML’s staffing count in early November was 711. That number has since risen to 760,” officials stated in a press release.

CML said it still may limit the number of people allowed in certain programs to ensure social distancing, and masks will still be required. Children under 2 do not need a mask.
