COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Center of Science and Industry (COSI) opened a Barbie exhibit on Wednesday.

The exhibit, “Barbie You Can Be Anything: The Experience,” is in partnership with Mattel as the company celebrates 60 years since the doll’s creation.

Guests will be able to explore the different versions of Barbie, in hopes of teaching the public that “no matter our gender, ethnicity, or background, we can all make the world a better place by doing work that excites us, challenges us, and brings us fulfillment,” according to COSI.

Visitors can learn about various Barbie dolls through history, how Ruth Handler created the doll, explore 11 different careers in addition to learning about the 200 careers Barbie has had and learn from women in history who have broken down barriers.

The exhibit comes two months after Barbie hit theaters, which made $1.4 billion at the box office.

The exhibit runs through Jan. 7, 2024. Tickets for COSI are available online.
