CLEVELAND — Mr. Kringle and Company is the festive brainchild of Jimmy Langa, Greg Markowitz and Michael Chiappe.

For the past 20 years, the company has offered immersive holiday experiences through character themed breakfasts/brunches, called an “inventionasium.”

What You Need To Know

  • There are two Mr. Kringle and Company suites decked out for this holiday season
  • Suites are in downtown Cleveland at the Hilton and Hotel Indigo
  • A third accommodation, “Mr. Jingeling’s suite,” will be available next year

“We’ve been operating the Kringle’s Inventionasium experience since 2007 and because of its success, and because of all the people coming in from out of state, we decided to partner with some neighboring hotels to offer guests coming into town an extension of that magical experience,” said Langa.

From now through Jan. 10, guests can book a stay in Mr. Kringle’s suite at the Hilton Cleveland Downtown or the new Mrs. Kringle suite at the Hotel Indigo.

According to the Hotel Indigo’s website, “Peppermint wishes and candied dreams await all who stay in the Mrs. Kringle Suite. The room boasts two sparkling Christmas trees, tabletop adornments, room decorations, and holiday-themed furniture complete with seasonal velvet bedding and pillows.”

Langa gets the suite ready for guests to stay in while Mrs. Kringle is away doing essential Christmas business.

His attention to detail ensures families are entertained, whether its the collection of Christmas movies, unique books, or special robes for everyone. The goal is to cherish the Christmas spirit.

Hotel Indigo employees are excited for guests to experience it.

“I actually got to meet Mrs. Kringle last Saturday,” said Cathy Ruhling, director of sales and marketing at Hotel Indigo. “It’s part of the whole feeling, the whole concept. It just makes your spirit soar to be part of this.”

Langa said Christmas has always been a big part of his life.

“I grew up with a love of Christmas. It all really started when I was a kid in grade school and one of my neighbors gifted me a small tabletop animatronic Santa Claus.”

From there, he started collecting more festive pieces and partnering up with his classmate, Markowitz, to help decorate for local churches and businesses.

A few years later, they started Mr. Kringle and Company and have been decorating and creating immersive experiences ever since.

“I like making magic and I like making people happy, and Christmas seems to be the perfect time to celebrate it’s magic and dreams and re-create happiness for many,” said Langa.
