What You Need To Know

  • The Burlington Antique Show has been a staple for over 40 years
  • The show operates once a month, April through October
  • They host one on Father’s Day each June
  • Those at the event say it was nice to get out and celebrate Father’s Day

Tony Pham said the Burlington Antique Show has become a well-known event taking place each month through the warmer months of the year for over 40 years. He took it over from his father-in-law in 2004. He said there’s something for everyone, and it’s a good way to spend Father’s Day.

“Fathers Day is always a good day to get them out and pick out something very unique for him,” Pham said.

At the show were Noah Hermes and his family, celebrating the day dedicated to dads. He said as a father, things can be tough sometimes, but he wouldn’t trade it for anything. He said he and his family found some fun items at the show.

“All the old toys! There’s lots of old toys here,” he said.

Hermes said being a dad is very important.

“Just being there for your kids and helping raise them and showing them the good example and being a little wild with them,” he said.

The next Burlington Antique Show takes place July 17, 2022 at the Boone County Fairgrounds.
