CINCINNATI — Two members of FC Cincinnati received national weekly awards for their performances during Week 30.

FCC forward Brenner Souza da Silva was named the Week 30 MLS Player of the Week, the second time receiving the award during the 2022 season. Brenner also won the award in Week 17, and is the third player in 2022 to win the award multiple times.
Brenner scored a hat trick and had an assist in FCC’s record-setting 6-0 win versus the San Jose Earthquakes at TQL Stadium on Sept. 10.

Also, as a result of the win, Brenner was named to the Week 30 MLS Team of the Week at the striker position. With Brenner, Luciano Acosta was named to the team at midfield.
Acosta scored one goal and had an assist in the win over San Jose. The performance extended his league-leading assist total to 18.
Cincinnati next plays at Real Salt Lake on Saturday at 9:30 p.m.
