CANTON, Ohio — Fourteen players with ties to professional football in Ohio were announced as part of the list of nominees to be enshrined at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Browns offensive tackle Joe Thomas, who played all 11 of his professional seasons with Cleveland and was inducted into the Browns Ring of Honor on Sept. 18, is appearing on his first ballot for the hall of fame.
Bengals Ring of Honor member, offensive tackle Willie Anderson, and Ring of Honor nominees, wide receiver Chad Johnson and running back Corey Dillon, also are on the ballot of 129 Modern-Era nominees.
Below is a list of players with ties to the Browns or Bengals who are appearing on the nomination list for 2023.
