George Washington University’s Program on Extremism is tracking charges for people involved in the January 6 breach at the U.S. Capitol, and Franklin County, Ohio tops the list for arrests.
Of the nearly 500 people who have been charged across the country so far for allegedly being part of the violence, seven are from Franklin County.
Ohio as a whole has the fifth most cases of any state, only trailing Florida, Texas, Pennsylvania and New York.
The site lists the additional Ohio counties with cases pending as: Champaign, Darke, Athens, Lake and Stark.
