The winner of Tuesday’s game will play the Houston Astros in the American League Championship Series.

Despite the 4-2 loss to the Yankees in Cleveland on Sunday, Guardians fan and businesses alike said they remain hopeful for a Game 5 win.

One of those businesses is We Bleed Ohio, a clothing store specializing in apparel for Cleveland sports fans located inside the 5th Street Arcade downtown.

Lord Paris France, an employee at We Bleed Ohio, was busy Monday as he prepared for the increase in business because of Guardians fans stocking up on swag in the postseason.

“It brought a lot of good business,” France said.

France said he is praying the Guardians pull off a win, not only to see them advance in the playoffs but also to see even more of a boost in business.

“We make everything in the back so you never know,” he said. “We may have some new stuff if we keep winning.”

The Guardians’ perseverance is something critics of this Cleveland team have been shocked by this MLB postseason, with so many having underestimated these players all year long, often calling the team too young and inexperienced.

The ‘Guardiac Kids’, a nickname given to the team this season, have been out to prove all the naysayers wrong and having been succeeding, hoping to continue doing so by advancing to the ALCS.
