We’re already starting off warm and muggy this morning, with surging heat and humidity throughout the day. Eventually, we’ll see heat indices in the upper 90s and triple digits, so finding ways to stay cool will be important this afternoon into the early evening.
Storms return to the forecast for the evening, and may produce gusty winds and downpours.
A few of these storms could be severe, with damaging winds, hail, or even a tornado.
Slightly cooler air returns to the forecast Thursday with highs back in the mid to upper 80s.
