The hot and muggy pattern remains in place, with highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s and the chance for some afternoon pop-up storms, mostly after 3 p.m.
For today, storm chances remain relatively low, but increase for the second half of the weekend.
A cold front moves in Monday, bringing more widespread rain, better chances for strong to severe storms, and cooler temperatures that fall back into the 80s.
This front moves through slowly, and at least low end storm chances stick around through mid-week.
