CINCINNATI — Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 4.
Burrow led the Bengals (3-1) to a 24-21 comeback victory in primetime Sept. 30 on Thursday Night Football.

After being shut out in the first half, Burrow orchestrated scores on all four drives his offense had in the second half, culminating in three touchdowns and the 35-yard game-winning field goal by Evan McPherson as time expired.
Burrow finished the game going 25 of 32 passing for 348 yards and two touchdowns, including 17 of 20 for 253 yards and two touchdowns in the second half.

The honor is the first time Burrow, previously of LSU, Ohio State and Athens High School, has received the AFC Player of the Week award.
McPherson, a rookie, won the award for special teams in Week 1 and rookie wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase won NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month award for September.
The Bengals next play the Green Bay Packers at Paul Brown Stadium on Oct. 10 at 1 p.m.
