MASON, Ohio — With the end of Halloween Haunt, Kings Island is transitioning from scary to merry.

  • WinterFest is open select nights from Nov. 25 to Dec. 31

​Kings Island has been taking advantage of the nice weather this week to get the amusement park ready for WinterFest.

The annual holiday tradition in Mason features more than five million lights, ice skating on the famous Royal Fountain, the Eiffel Tower transformed into a Christmas tree, select rides and live shows.

Attendees can experience up to 20 rides including Mystic Timbers and Kings Mills Antique Autos.

The “Wonderland Parade,” photos with Santa Claus and decorating cookies with Mrs. Claus are among other activities available.

WinterFest is open select nights from Nov. 25 to Dec. 31.
