Wednesday signaled the last mild and dry day for a while, as temperatures drop and a winter-like pattern develops late in the week and into the upcoming weekend.
Overnight into Thursday (Veteran’s Day), expect increasing clouds and windy conditions. A mild start to the day will give way to decreasing temperatures and widespread rain along a front by the afternoon.
Winds could gust up to 40 mph, and an isolated rumble of thunder is even possible.
