KENTUCKY — While Gov. Andy Beshear offered a sliver of good news on Friday, it came with confirmation of a somber milestone in the aftermath of last week’s deadly tornadoes.

The official death toll rose to 77 on Friday, and Beshear said only one person is still missing. The latest toll breaks the record for the deadliest twister in Kentucky’s history.

Kentucky state parks continue to lodge more than 600 displaced Kentuckians. Nearly all seven state parks are at capacity.

Hundreds of FEMA workers are on the ground in Kentucky helping to sign people up for disaster relief. If you or someone you knows needs disaster relief they can fill out an application online here.
