Russia’s invasion of Ukraine continues after the country’s president Vladimir Putin ordered a “special military operation” on its neighbor.
Ukraine’s health minister said Saturday that 198 people, including three children, were killed; More than 1,000 other individuals have been wounded.
The U.S. on Friday sanctioned Putin directly, along with the country’s foreign minister, as the Biden administration continues to apply pressure on Russia for its invasion of Ukraine.
