As Russia’s invasion continues, Russian forces push their advance on Ukrainian cities despite significant resistance from the people of Ukraine.
The U.N. human rights office says it has documented 726 civilian deaths in Ukraine so far, including 52 children, but they believe the actual number is “much higher.”

Shortly after, President Joe Biden responded with an additional $800 million in new security assistance for Ukraine, one day after signing a spending bill into law which provides $13.6 billion in aid.
